Timothy Lynn Castle, age 51, of Warfordsburg, Pa., died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at his home.

Born September 29, 1964, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Janet Castle Blankley and the late Grant W. Blankley, and the husband of the late Ofeira Serena Castle, who died March 8, 2005.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Hancock Ward, in Hancock, Md.

He was a 1982 graduate of Southern Fulton High School, in Warfordsburg.

He was retired from Mellott’s Wood Preserving Co., in Needmore, Pa.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Besides his mother, he is survived by three children, Heidi Nicole Soriano and husband, Jerry, of West Jordan, UT., Jordan Lynn Castle and Kaelani Ofeira Castle, both of Warfordsburg; one sister, Charlene Younker, of Warfordsburg; and four grandsons, Malaki, Julian, Elias, and Giovani.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Hancock Ward, 200 Douglas Street, Hancock, Md. Bishop Lance Hendershot will preside. Burial, with military honors by the Tri-State Honor Guard, will be in the Black Oak Mennonite Cemetery, in Warfordsburg.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday, from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu flowers, contributions in his name, may be made to the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Hancock, Md., 21750, to help defray funeral expenses.
