Alice Jean Baker, age 72, of Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home, in Boonsboro, Md., died on January 28, 2016. Born in Washington D.C., January 22, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William Glenn and Dorothy Stoner Johnson.

She was a homemaker.

She was of the Protestant faith.

She is survived by one daughter, Cherie Morina, of Scottsdale Az.; a son, Anthony Baker, of Arizona City, Az.; and two sisters, Karen Weaver, of Hanover Pa., and Patricia Landes, of Dayton, Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Tyler Baker.

Friends will be received at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. on Friday, February 5, 2016, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., and a memorial service will be held at the Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt, Jr. will officiate.

Alice loved animals, and she requested that donations in her name may be made to the Humane Society or the local animal shelter of your choice.
