Mrs. Alice Milita Mask, age 91, went home to her Lord on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was a long-time resident of Fulton County Long Term Care Facility.
Born Alice Milita Young, on January 28, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Margaret (Miller) Young, of Alverton, Pa. She was the widow of the late Richard G. Mask, who died in 1975.
She is survived by daughters, Peggy Roach and husband, Tom, of Everett, Pa., and Ginny Barnhart and husband, Mike, of Needmore, Pa.; and two sons, Ronald Mask and Robert Mask, of Needmore, Pa. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Tim, Penny, Gabriellle and Virginia; two great-grandchildren, Josh and Hannah; and one great-great-grandchild, Cameron.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Mask; and a grandson, Thom Roach.
In her retirement years, following a long career in retail, she enjoyed traveling, and the Washington Capitals Hockey Team, as a season ticket holder, for many years. She also enjoyed going to Church, and was an avid reader of the Bible.
Visitation and services will be held at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 28, 2015, with Pastor Richard Bernhard officiating.
Interment will be at the George Washington Cemetery, in Adelphi, Md.
