Angela Gail Swisher, age 43, of Hancock, died Friday, October 28, 2011, at the Morgan County War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Born October 16, 1968, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of Fred and Linda Harmon Cooper of Berkeley Springs, and wife of Cory L. Swisher, of Hancock, whom she married May 26, 1988, at the Hancock Assembly of God.

She was a 1986 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School, and was a member of the U.S.S. Laffey Association.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by one daughter, Grace Angeline Swisher, at home; one sister, Kathie M. Mowery; and one brother, Michael A. Cooper, both of Berkeley Springs; and several nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, at 1:00 p.m., at the Victory Tabernacle, Hedgesville, W.Va. The Rev. Carl Clark will officiate.  Final disposition will be at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 31, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, and at the Church one hour prior to services on Tuesday.

The family requests the omission of flowers, with contributions, in her memory, given to the Grove Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
