Betty J. (Stallings) Huff, age 85, of Hancock, Md., died on January 17, 2017 at the Julia Manor Nursing Home, in Hagerstown, Md.

Born in Georgia, on Saturday, March 14, 1931, she was the daughter of Roy and Jewell Stallings, who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Huff, who died on October 28, 1990; a son, Steven Lawrence Huff, who died in 2010; and a daughter-in-law, Michelle Denise Huff, who died in 2005.

She was a member of the Hancock Presbyterian Church.

She was formerly a secretary at the Hartford Insurance Company.

She was a member of the Garden Club, in Hagerstown, Md.; and a former member of the Hancock Rotary Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy Lynn Huff, of Hancock; a sister, Barbara Stevens, of Waddington, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Eric, David, and Travis Huff; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 23, 2017, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m., at the Hancock Presbyterian Church, 17 East Main Street, Hancock, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Terry Jo Martin-Minnich officiating. Burial will follow at the Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, in Needmore, Pa.
