Charles Timothy Baden, age 76, of Big Cove Tannery, Pa., passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital, in Altoona, Pa.

Born February 12, 1943, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late James O. and Mildred (Rawlings) Baden; and the husband of Cathy S. (Munson) Baden.

He was a veteran of the US Army, and retired from Foltz Manufacturing in Hagerstown, Md., where he had worked as a warehouse foreman for fifteen years.

He was a member of the Warfordsburg Senior Center, in Warfordsburg, Pa.

He loved to hunt and fish and to work outside in his garden.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Richard Baden, of Baltimore, Md.; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and William Baden; and one sister, Elizabeth L’hereux.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 15, at 12:00 noon, with Rev. Richard Bernhard officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, in Hagerstown, Md.
