Cynthia Mellott

Cynthia Maria Mellott, age 59, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at her home.

Born November 9, 1960, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Daniel W. and Beverly L. (Clark) Smith; and the widow of Ryan Mellott who passed away in 2017.

She was a 1978 graduate of Southern Fulton High School, in Warfordsburg.

She was formerly employed with In-Home Care.

Cindy is survived by two sons, Michael Lee Day, Sr., of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Kyle Eugene Harr, of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Sabrina Hann, of Warfordsburg; two brothers, Devon Smith, of Winchester, Va., and Daniel Smith, of Berkeley Springs; two grandchildren, Michael Lee Day, Jr., and Makayla Elizabeth Day; a number of nieces and nephews; and her two favorite friends, Chewy and Sierra.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Darren Atlee Smith, Sr.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md.
