Daniel Hull

Hancock, Maryland

Daniel Elwood Hull, age 77, of Hancock, Md., passed away at his home on Thursday, March 28, 2019.

Born in Hancock on June 23, 1941, he was the son of the late Lester and Dorothy (Younker) Hull .

He was a graduate of Hancock High School, and retired from employment with C. William Hetzer, Inc., in Hagerstown, Md.

He is survived by one son, Danny E. Hull, of Hancock; one daughter, Sheila DeJesus and her husband, Carl, of Germantown, Md.; two grandchildren; four brothers, Andrew, Ralph and Jess Hull, all of Hancock, and Ben Hull, of Mt. Union, Pa.; and two sisters, Ruby Swain, of Hancock, and Agnes Deck, of Fort Loudon, Pa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Hull; three brothers, Raymond, Wilbur and Amos Hull; and two sisters, Lena Ganoe and Norma Jane Hull.

Funeral services will be held at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, on Monday, April 1, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Jeffrey Hawbaker officiating.  Burial will follow at the Orchard Ridge First Church of God cemetery, 14128 Orchard Ridge Rd., Hancock. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home for one hour prior to the services, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
