David Timothy Bivens, age 38, of Hancock, died on Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Needmore, Pa.
Born April 19, 1977, in McConnellsburg,Pa., he was the son of David H. and Joan L. Bernhard Bivens, of Hancock, and the grandson of Lois (Paff) Bernhard, of Hagerstown.
He was currently living with his girlfriend, Brandi Hann, in Needmore, Pa.
He attended Hancock schools, and was currently employed by F.O. Day Co. as a screen operator; prior to that he had been employed by Aspen Tree Trimming, and R.F. Kline, Inc.
Besides his parents and grandmother; he is survived by two daughters, Emily Nichole and Lillian Rose Bivens, both of Zelienople, Pa.; and one sister, Lannie Gehrig and husband, Tim, of Hagerstown, Md.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Melvin Bernhard, and Roger and Opal Bivens.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions in his name be made to the Grove Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
