David Manning

David Edward Manning, 70, Hancock, MD., passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

Born February 12, 1952, in Berkeley Springs, WV., he was the son of the late William and Loretta Layton Manning.

He was a 1970 graduate of Hancock High School.

He was a correctional officer for the State of Maryland, retiring after 30 years of service.

He was a member of the Hancock Church of God.

He is survived by one daughter, Lee Ann Manning; one granddaughter, Brynn Noelle Manning, both of Hancock, MD.; and one brother, Randy Manning, Cumberland, MD.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Manning; and one brother, Gregory Manning.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
