Della Lee Buscher, age 77, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at her home.
Born April 10, 1942, in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Arthur Elton and Elizabeth Estella (Fish) Weisenberger and Clifford Clarence Weisenberger; and the widow of John Wesley Buscher, whom she married October 25, 1963, and who died June 27, 2018.
Prior to her marriage to John, Della lived in Hillside, Greenbelt, and College Park, Md. Following their marriage, they lived in Langley Park and Bladensburg, Md. before retiring and moving to Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
She had formerly served on the Bladensburg, Md. City Council, and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Jim Phifer, John Wesley Buscher, II, Troy Curtis Buscher, and Erik Clifford Buscher; one daughter, Denise Phifer; three grandchildren, Mikaela Lee Buscher, Autum Sisco and Troy Sisco; one brother, Arthur Elton Weisenberger; and three sisters, Dolores Jean Tickel, Darlene Marie Slarb, and Cheryl Mae Kiatta.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Angelique Anne Sisco.
A Memorial Service is to be held at a later date due to the Coronavirus.
