Donna Lee Reed McCusker, age 45, of Hancock, went to be an angel, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Friday, September 20, 2013.

Born April 18, 1968, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of Carolyn F. Reed, of Hancock, and the late Daniel L. Reed.

She was a 1986 graduate of Hancock High School.

She was a homemaker, and a member of the Webster B. Harrison Auxiliary Unit 26, American Legion, Hancock.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Gerald L. McCusker, whom she married May 25, 1985, at Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, in Hancock; two loving daughters, April Marrone and husband, John, and Danielle Mason and husband, Frank, both of Hancock; three grandchildren, Lakyn Marrone, Huntur Marrone, and Desiree Mason, all of Hancock; four sisters, Tammy Smith and husband, Mark, Kathie Hillegas and husband, Brian, Sharon Hendershot and husband, Ronnie, all of Hancock, and Deborah Swindell and husband, Tim, of Needmore, Pa; one niece; and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Kendra Ann; and grandparents, Elmer and Mary Shupp.

A service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, at 11:00 a.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md. Rev. Jim Jefferies will officiate. Burial will be in the Parkhead Cemetery, in Big Pool, Md.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in her name, may be made to the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. 21750-0368
