Evelyn (Gido) Timko, age 87, of Hancock, Md., passed away at her home on Sunday, February 16, 2020.

Born December 4, 1932, in Monessen, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Shinko) Gido; and the widow of Bernard A. Timko, Sr., who died February 1, 2012, after 44 years of marriage.

Evelyn was formerly employed at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, Md.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, in Baltimore.

She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Wilson, of White Marsh, Md.; two sons, Bernard Andrew Timko, Jr., of Edgewood, Md., and George Timko, of Hancock; nine grandchildren, Aimee Noguera, Megan, Micah, Lovely, Joshua, and Gino Timko, Emma and Amanda Wilson, and James Watts; one great-granddaughter, Monica Noguera; and two great-grandsons, Jacob Pfarr and Caleb Noguera.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Robert and Anthony Gido; and four sisters, Bertha Oravec, Elizabeth Scarano, Dorothy Gido, and Katherine Gido.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock.
