Franklin Gene Stotler, age 72, of Hancock, Md., passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the War Memorial Hospital, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born October 30, 1946, in Hancock, he was the son of the late Junior F. and Ruth E. (Divelbliss) Stotler, and the husband of Beverly (Shives) Stotler.
He was a graduate of Hancock High School with the class of 1964.
He had been employed with Hydra-Pak, in Hagerstown, Md., for over twenty years, and was the co-owner of Compressed Air Services. More recently, he had been employed as a security guard at the Washington County District Court, in Hagerstown, Md.
Frank was a member of the Hancock United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Hancock Lions Club. For many years he served as a little league Coach and a Cub Scout Master in Hancock.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert G. Stotler and his companion, Cerina Lipscomb, of Cumberland, Md., and Damieon J. Stotler and his wife, Amy, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Abbie and Chase Stotler; and a brother, Randy Stotler and his wife, Brenda, of Hancock. He is also survived by his former wife, Fran Stotler, of Hancock.
The family would like to give special thanks to Frank’s support team, Carl and Suzanne Adams, Bill and Ginger Albanese, and Brian and Debbie Reed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Hancock United Methodist Church, 170 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. 21750.
Memorial services will be held at a date to be announced later.
