Goldie E. Grubb, age 82, of Big Cove Tannery, Pa., died Friday, March 16, 2012, at her home.
Born November 18, 1929, in Rock, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John M. and Bessie Jane Kinzer Prince, and the widow of the late Delcia G. Grubb, who died August 8, 2006.
She was a member of Antioch Christian Church, and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by five sons, Danny G. Grubb and Albert L. Grubb, both of Big Cove Tannery, Pa., William L. Grubb, of Chambersburg, Pa., Harold G. Grubb and Alan W. Grubb, both of Baltimore, Md.; two daughters, Connie S. Galinni, of Baltimore, Md., and Carolyn F. Ford, of Big Cove Tannery, Pa.; two sisters, Mae Nicholson, of Princeton, W.Va., and Lucy Thompson, of Chicago, IL.; and one brother, David Prince, of Herndon, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lynda Bowman; and two sisters, Edna Wood and Rosa Epperly.
A service will be held Tuesday, March 20, at 11:00 a.m., at Antioch Christian Church, 7902 Timber Ridge Road, Big Cove Tannery, Pa. Gerald Waltz will officiate. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Arrangements will be handled by the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md.
