Guy Donald Clark, age 86, formerly of Silver Spring, Md., and recently of  Hancock, Md., died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at his home.

Born February 20, 1925, in Warfordsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Raymond and Flora Mills Clark.

He was retired, after 43 years as a brick and stone mason for A. Myron Cowell Co., in the Washington Metro area.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Lander Clark, whom he married October 21, 1950, in Hancock, Md.; one son, Mark Wayne Clark and wife, JoAnne, of Silver Spring, Md.; grandchildren, Kevin, Haley, Laurel and Bridget Clark; three sisters, Edna Crawford, Helen DeShong and Gladys Tomter, all of Chambersburg, Pa.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Melanie Clark Besteman; two sisters, Rose Truax, Evelyn Mellott; and three brothers, Charles Clark, James Clark and Clyde Clark.

A service will be held Saturday, August 6, at 11:00 a.m., at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 226 Ebenezer Church Road, Harrisonville, Pa. Rev. Donald Bard will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
