Hallie Eileen Tolker, age 96, of Hancock, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at the Filcare Home in Clear Spring, Md.

Born, February 24, 1916, in Lake Benton, Mn., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ella Johnson Evans, and the widow of Edwin J. Tolker, who died in 1967.

She was a homemaker, and she was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by one daughter, Elaine E. Gangloff, of Hancock; one son, Robert J. Tolker, of Alberton, Mt.; three grandsons, William Gangloff, Jr., Robert E. Gangloff, and Richard B. Gangloff.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Milton Evans, and Stanley Evans; and one grandson, Forest Tolker.

A service will be held on Monday, November 19, at 1:00 p.m., at Woodside United Methodist Church, Silver Spring, Md. Rev. Kirkland Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be in the Parklawn Cemetery, in Rockville, Md.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17, at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, Md. 21740
