Harold Wayne Clingerman, age 62, of Hancock, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at his home.

Born May 28, 1947,in Hancock, MD, he was the son of the late Stewart and Ethel Jerome Clingerman and the husband of the late Barbara Jean Clingerman, who died March 8, 1988.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Berkeley Springs, WV.

He is survived by three daughters; Sandra Strait and Patricia Wilt, both of Warfordsburg, PA., Diane St Clair of Hancock, MD., one son, Richard Clingerman of Warfordsburg, PA., four sisters; Pauline Biden of Ottawa, OH., Vada Shipe of Hedgesville, WV., Carol Abel of Frederick, MD., Leona Sipes of Hancock, MD., eight grandchildren, forty-two nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Clingerman, three sisters; Gladys Stotler, Alda Smith and Deloris Plottner, one granddaughter, Megan Clingerman and companion, Veronica Spriggs.

A service will be held Thursday, May 13 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, MD, Pastor Carl Harper will officiate. Burial will be in Buck Valley Memorial Cemetery, Warfordsburg, PA. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
