Harold E. Mills, age 70, of Warfordsburg, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at his home.

Born January 13, 1943, in Warfordsburg. He was the son of the late Harry T. and Wava L. Stotler Mills.

He was a retired operator for Computerized Blacktop Plant, Quarry Ridge Asphalt, Cumberland, Md.

He was a member of Local 37 Operators Engineers.

He was a member of Black Oak Mennonite Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia D. Laidig Mills, whom he married August 5, 1994, in Hagerstown, Md.; four sons, Frank Mills, of Warfordsburg, Rodney Mills and Randy Mills, both of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Ronnie Mills, of Hancock, Md.; one daughter, Tina Spears, of Hancock; four sisters, Mae Tucillo, of Maspeth, N.Y., Alice Younker, of Needmore, Pa., Peggy McAllister, of Hancock, and Edna Knable, of Needmore; two brothers, Jearl Mills, of Shippensburg, Pa., and Wilbur Peck, of Warfordsburg.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Betty Lou Mills, Judy Truax, Sue Peck and Kathleen Yuen; and two brothers, Harry T. Mills, Jr., and Roger Mills.

A service will be held on Friday, August 16, at 11:00 a.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. Rev. William Swope will officiate. Burial will be in the Warfordsburg Presbyterian Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
