Harry Wayne Iden, age 62, of Hancock, Md., died on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Doey’s Hospice House, in Hagerstown, Md.
Born Thursday, March 8, 1956, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Harry D. and Grace A. (Snyder) Iden.
He was a graduate of Hancock High School with the class of 1974; and for over thirteen years, he was employed by Xerxes Corporation - Hagerstown, in Williamsport, Md.
Harry loved to read, and also to camp and fish.
He is survived by two daughters, Heather M. Ward, of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Brandy R. Kithcart and her husband, Theron, of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Marie Fink and Louise Trail, both of Warfordsburg, Pa.; four grandchildren, Blayze Iden, Kaleigh G. Vance, Ava M. Kithcart, and Alexandra G. Kithcart; and several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock.
Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Hospice chaplain Jeff Casto officiating. Burial will follow in the Stonebridge Church of the Brethren cemetery on Orchard Ridge Road, in Hancock.
