Henry Mccusker

Henry Lynwood McCusker, 82, Hancock, MD., passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

Born May 31, 1939, in Hancock, MD., he was the son of the late William McCusker and Hazel Munson and the widower of Monika Kuhn McCusker, who passed away in 2014.

He was an Army Veteran who served in Korea and the Vietnam War.

He retired from Rohr Industries in Hagerstown, MD.

He was a member of the Hancock American Legion and Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church.

He enjoyed fishing and taking long walks on the canal.

He is survived by his children, Christina D. McCusker, and fiancé Dale Martin, of Williamsport, MD., Roland H. McCusker, and his fiancé Jacklyn F. Blankley, of Needmore, PA., Gabriela Gessner and Michaela Mayer, both of Germany; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Hedy Yost; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10, 2022, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main St, Hancock, MD.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, 14253 Exline Rd., Hancock, MD., with visitation one hour prior. Ann Mazingo will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
