Ira Mellott

Ira Webster Mellott, age 94, of Needmore, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at the Fulton County Medical Center, in McConnellsburg, Pa.

Born January 18, 1926, in Fulton County, Pa., he was the son of the late Clarence and Frances (Wigfield) Mellott.

In his younger days Ira played the mandolin and banjo, and loved old-time country music.

He leaves behind many friends and foster family members.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Ada Mellott; and two brothers, Wilbert “Sonny” Mellott, and infant, Glenn Mellott.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
