Izora Clingerman

E. Izora Clingerman, age 91, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away Friday, January 7, 2011, at the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care, McConnellsburg, Pa.

Born October 5, 1919, in Warfordsburg, she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. Lynch and Charlotte E. (Stoner) Lynch.

She was the widow of Huber E. Clingerman, who died October 9, 1968.

She was a 1938 graduate of Warfordsburg High School.

She was employed at Fairchild Industries and Londontown Manufacturing, retiring in 1984.

She was a member of Mays Chapel Christian Church.

She is survived by one son, Ronald E. Clingerman and wife, Gloria, of Warfordsburg; three grandchildren, Heather Brakeall and husband, Steve, of Williamsport, Md., Brett Clingerman and wife, Amanda, of Winchester, Va., and Jeremy Clingerman of Warfordsburg; three great-grandchildren, Kaden and Cole Brakeall, and Piper Clingerman; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Rosalie O'Rourke and one brother, Gilbert Ward.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 11, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hancock, Md. Burial will be at the May's Chapel Christian Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md., and at the Church on Tuesday, 10 to 11 a.m. For the convenience of family and friends, the Funeral Home will be open 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
