Jacqueline Adell Yates

Jaqueline Keiling Yates, age 84, of Needmore, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 1, 2024 after a hard fought 4 1/2-year battle with cholangiocarcinoma.

Daughter of the late John S. and Helen (Bowles) Keiling. Also, preceded in death by sister, Norma (Donald), and grandson, Steven Matthew.

Jackie grew up in Takoma Park, MD where she was a 1959 graduate of Montgomery Blair HS and a 1960 graduate of the Washington School for Secretaries. She began her career at her father's side at American Citizens Life Insurance Co., where he was Vice President. Later, she began her lifelong career as Office Manager for Juvenile Sales Co. until her retirement in 1988.

Jackie had a passion for cooking. She enjoyed cooking with her church family, Rehoboth New Life, where she was affectionately known as the "Kitchen Queen". Also, as an avid member of the Fulton County Republican Committee, Jackie organized many dinners and activities.

She is survived by her husband Edgar (Spike), daughters: Debra and Carol (Bill), sisters: Mary (Charles) and Susan (the late Robert). Grandchildren: James (Janelle), Joey (Pam), Angela (Chase), Chris (Allison), Danielle (Erik) and Matthew (Kelly). Great-grandchildren: Courtney, Hailey, LJ, Anthony, Steven, Addison, Daniel, Ellie Grace, Olivia and Adeline. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jackie will always be deeply loved and missed by her family and her many lifelong friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2025.
