James Andrew MacCumbee, age 76, of Maple Ridge, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Hagerstown, Md.

Born February 27, 1934, in Washington County, Md., he was the son of the late Gilbert Thomas and Orpha Fox MacCumbee, and the husband of Gladys L. Jordan MacCumbee, who died May 22, 2006.

He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Hancock, Md.

He is survived by one daughter, Diane L. Finney and husband, Ricky, of Hancock, Md.; seven brothers, Robert MacCumbee, Richard MacCumbee, and Wayne Fox, all of Berkeley Springs, W. Va., Gary MacCumbee of South Carolina, Steve MacCumbee of Missouri, Donald MacCumbee and Henry MacCumbee, both of Hagerstown, Md.; five sisters, Frances Trail of Little Orleans, Md., Cheryl Price and Nancy Barney, both of Berkeley Springs, W. Va., Janie Sigler of Hagerstown, Md. and Cecilia Renner of Warfordsburg, Pa.; three grandsons, Che Finney, Joshua Finney and Dylan Finney; and great-grandson, Jordan Finney. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Larry MacCumbee and Paul MacCumbee.

A service will be held Friday, August 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md. Rev. Leonard A. Smith will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Hancock, Md.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 9-11 a.m.
