Janice Bageant

Berkeley Springs, West Virginia

Janice Nadine Bageant, age 82, formerly of Berkeley Springs, and more recently of Donahoe Manor, in Bedford, Pa., died on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Donahoe Manor.

Born November 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Harvey J. and Viola T. Pleasants.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by five sons, Paul G. Bageant, of Tallahassee, Fl., Larry E. Bageant, of Spotsylvania, Va., Keith G. Bageant, of Chesapeake Beach, Md., Eric A. Bageant, of Buck Valley, Pa., and Kenneth L. Bageant, of Wiley Ford, W.Va.; one brother, Phillip Pleasants, of Montgomery, Al.; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robin David Bageant; seven brothers, Harvey Joseph Pleasants, Jr., Edwin Lewis Pleasants, Stephen Casper Pleasants, Leon Washington Pleasants, Clyde Grayson Pleasants, Lowell David Pleasants and Roger Mason Pleasants; one sister, Hazel Ann Pleasants.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, 5739 Buck Valley Road, Warfordsburg, Pa. Rev. Edward Blank will officiate.

Family will receive friends on Thursday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md.
