Jean Estaline Yonker, age 81, of Holly Place Assisted Living, Hagerstown, Md., and formerly of Hancock, died on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Holly Place.
Born October 15, 1932, in Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Viola Lanehart Miller, and wife of Ralph M. Yonker, Sr., who passed away on January 4, 1995.
She was a Christian, and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Faron Weller, of Waterloo, N.Y., and James Yonker, of McConnellsburg, Pa.; one sister, Betty Miller, of Chambersburg, Pa.; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Stotler; one sister, Shirley Keesecker; and one grandson, Matthew Weller.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock. Rev. Hilda Snyder will officiate. Burial will follow at the Piney Plains United Methodist Cemetery, Little Orleans, Md.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday, July 14, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. For the convenience of family and friends, the Funeral Home will be open from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
