Joann Christine (Miller) Hott, age 68, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Doey’s House, in Hagerstown, Md.

Born December 26, 1950, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Jane (Miller) Wagner; and the wife of Marvin L. Hott, whom she married thirty-eight years ago.

She was a 1969 graduate of Waynesboro High School, Waynesboro Pa.

She was a member of the Hancock Church of God.

She was employed by the Freeman Shoe Factory from 1969 until 1980; and was a Hancock Home Health Care provider for twelve years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Bobbie Hott, of Hancock; four step-daughters; three brothers; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one niece; and four nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson; and one brother.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, on Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, February 22. Pastor Terry Goodwin will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, in Hagerstown, Md.
