Larry Lee Iden, Jr., age 28, of Sensel Road, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 near Needmore, Pa., as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born April 18, 1982, in McConnellsburg, Pa., he was the son of Larry Lee Iden, Sr., of Hancock, Md., and Cheryl D. Houdersheldt Iden, of Warfordsburg, Pa.
He was a 2000 graduate of Southern Fulton High School, Warfordsburg, Pa.
He was a construction worker and self-employed carpenter.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his step-mother, Michelle Lee Martin Iden; one brother, Saylor Iden, at home; two sisters, Tesa Iden and Sasha Martin, both at home; paternal grandmother, Roberta Iden, of Hancock, Md.; and maternal grandmother, Joan Houdersheldt, of Warfordsburg, Pa.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 22, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md. Pastor B. Terry Goodwin will officiate. Burial will be in the Alpine United Methodist Cemetery, Berkeley Springs, WV.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses, be made to the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. 21750.
