Larry "Porky" Reed, age 60, of Corner Road, died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, MD.

Born October 2, 1949 in Berkeley Springs, WV., he was the son of Venetta Weller Reed of Hancock, MD. and the late James Reed, Sr.

He was formerly a supervisor with C. William Hetzer.

He was a member of Orchard Ridge First Church of God, Hancock, MD.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pauline Y. Mason Reed; three sons, Bradley Reed of Big Cove Tannery, PA., Johnny Reed and Pudge Reed, both of Hancock, MD.; three sisters, Sharon Reed of Hancock, MD., Wilma Powell of Clear Spring, MD., Deborah Stouffer of Hagerstown, MD.; one brother, James Reed, Jr. of Hancock, MD.; three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Reed.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 21, at 6:00 p.m. at Orchard Ridge First Church of God, Hancock, MD. Rev. Jeff Hawbaker will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening, 5-6 p.m., at the church.
