Leon Albert Creek, age 64, of Hancock, Md., died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at his home.

Born May 24, 1946, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Dolores Y. Creek, of Hancock, Md., and the late Albert G. Creek.

He was a 1964 graduate of Hancock High School, and a 1966 graduate of Hagerstown Business College.

He was President of The Home Center, Inc., Hancock, Md.

He was a member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, and attended the Hancock United Methodist Church, both in Hancock, Md.

He was a member of the Ali Ghan Shrine, in Cumberland, Md.; and was also a member of the James W. Bowers Lodge AF & AM, Hancock, Md.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Beverly A. Golden Creek, whom he married March 19, 1967, at Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren; one daughter, Jill Renee Keddington, of Hancock, Md.; and one son, Allen Bradley Creek, of Hancock, Md.; two brothers, David B. Creek of Williamsport, Md., and Scott B. Creek, of Hancock, Md.; and three grandchildren, Jessica Renee Hook, Zachery Wade Emerson, and Colby Garrett Keddington, all of Hancock, Md.; and two great-grandchildren, Riley Skye Emerson and Drayden Alexander Hook, both of Hancock, Md.; and a number of aunts and uncles.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hancock United Methodist Church. Rev. Duane Jensen will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.

The family requests the omission of flowers, and that memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Avenue, Hagerstown, Md., 21740, or to the Hancock United Methodist Church, 170 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., 21750.
