Leroy V. McCusker, age 75, formerly of Hancock, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at the Western Maryland Health System, Cumberland, Md.

Born July 18, 1935, in Hancock, he was the son of the late William A. and Hazel R. Munson McCusker, and widower of Loretta G. Price McCusker, who died November 8, 2001.

He was a member of the Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church; and the James W. Bowers Lodge AF&AM 173, of Hancock.

He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was retired as manager from the  Hi-Lo-Oil Company, in Frederick, Md.

He is survived by one daughter, Rosalie Marie Schweitzer, of San Antonio, Tx.; and one son, Ronald Lee McCusker, of Needmore, Pa.; four sisters, Genevieve Plante, of Williamsport, Md., Fern Hart, of Warfordsburg, Pa., Lorna Thomas, of Fruitland, Md., and Harriet Yost, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; one brother, Henry McCusker, of Hancock; and five grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaretta C. Joy; and three brothers, Millard F. McCusker, Harry W. McCusker and Robert C. McCusker.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
