Lois Caldwell

Lois Bernadette Caldwell, age 92, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Williamsport Nursing Home, in Williamsport, Md.

Born December 21, 1925, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lulu (Broadwater) Caldwell.

She retired from the Sheetz Convenience Store, in Hancock, after more than twenty-five years of employment there.

She was the last survivor of the Caldwell family.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

She was sweet, kind, considerate, and a jokester; as well as a loving caregiver for her family.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md.

A Note from her niece:
I would also like to make mention of the great care, concern and love that the nurses, caregivers, and staff, as well as the many   acquaintances of Williamsport Nursing Home gave to "Loi", as they called her.
For the last 5 1/2 years they have taken care of, joked with, sang with, and laughed with, and made her transition so much more   pleasant. As she was ending her time of life on this earth, I was in awe of the many people that stopped by to visit and talk with      their "Loi".  I feel sure that she'll be remembered for a long, long time.
I am so thankful for each of you for making a great lady, Auntie Lote, feel so special.  Sincere and loving thanks!!!!!
