Lori Jean Everts, age 49, of Warfordsburg, died on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at her home.
Born August 19, 1966, in Altoona Pa., she was the daughter of Carl Wayne and Shirley Updyke Shultz, of Williamsburg, Pa., and the wife of Lee Eric Everts, of Warfordsburg, whom she married August 19, 1997, in Needmore, Pa.
She was a Christian.
She was a 1984 graduate of Williamsburg High School, in Williamsburg, Pa.
She was a homemaker, and worked personal home care for the elderly.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by one son, Cody Quarry and wife, Jamie, of McConnellsburg, Pa.; one sister, Sharon Schultz Burns, of Williamsburg, Pa.; two brothers, Troy Schultz and Doug Schultz, both of Williamsburg, Pa.; a brother-in-law, Mark Everts, of Hancock, Md.; three grandchildren, Damien and Kaden Quarry and Jayelyn Schoen.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Shultz.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 2 East High Street, Hancock, Md. Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the Tonoloway Baptist Cemetery, in Needmore, Pa.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 5, 2015, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md.
