Loyal Austin McCusker, age 90, of Hancock, died on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at his home.

Born February 16, 1925, in Hancock, he was the son of the late Austin William and Anna Mae Miller McCusker.

He was a retired custodian for the Washington County Board of Education, and a self-employed farmer.

He was a member of the Green Ridge Assembly of God Church in Flintstone, Md.

He is survived by his wife Regina M. “Jean” Fletcher McCusker; one sister, Marion Kerns, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two brothers, Lester McCusker, of Clear Spring, Md., and Gail McCusker, of Hancock; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Regina Manning, Evelyn McCusker, and Anna Louise Kidwell; and three brothers, Kenneth McCusker, Urcel McCusker, and Donald McCusker.

A service will be held on Friday, August 21, at 10:00 a.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock. Rev. Olin Teeter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Cemetery, 14253 Exline Road, Hancock.

The family will receive friends Thursday, from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
