Loye Denver Hull, Sr., age 77, of Hancock, died on Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital, in Latrobe, Pa.
Born August 7, 1938, in Hancock, he was the son of the late Richard Ray and Dorothy V. Mills Hull, and the husband of Dorothea Y. (Seavolt) Hull, of Hancock, whom he married May 25, 1957, in Big Pool, Md.
He was a 1956 graduate of Hancock High School.
He was a member of Orchard Ridge First Church of God, and the Webster B. Harrison Post 26 American Legion, both in Hancock.
He was an independent truck driver, delivering Fleetwood Travel Trailers to dealers. He was formerly employed by C. William Hetzer, Inc., and the Washington County Roads Dept.
He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army Reserves, after eight years of service.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Loye D. Hull, Jr.of Hancock and fiancé, Debbie Bachtell,; one brother, Barry Hull, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; grandchildren, Dustin Hull and fiancé, Megin Weller, of Williamsport, Md., Jenna Hull and friend, Zach Lancaster, of Hagerstown, Md.; and one great-grandchild, Paisley Hull, of Williamsport, Md.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald Eugene Hull; and brothers, Eugene and Stanley Hull.
Funeral Services will be held at the Orchard Ridge First Church of God, 13642 Orchard Ridge Road, Hancock, on Friday, October 23, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Jeffrey Hawbaker will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22, at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m., and at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
