Lucinda Ann Keefer, age 55, of Hancock, died Saturday, May 21, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, MD.

Born December 3, 1954, she was the daughter of Valeria R. Yonker of Hancock and the late Roy Sherwood Shoemaker.

She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.

Besides her mother, she is survived by one son Gary L. Keefer, Jr. of Hancock; companion, Larry Fritz, of Hancock, three sisters; Linda L. Keefer, Clear Spring, MD., Sandra Socks, Hagerstown, MD. and Mary Ellen Hollenshead, Needmore, PA.; one brother, Larry Eugene "Butch" Shoemaker of Swanton, MD. and one grandson.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Shoemaker, four brothers; Terry "Whitey" Shoemaker, Barry Edward Shoemaker, Dale Tobias Shoemaker, and Randy L. Shoemaker.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Orchard Ridge First Church of God on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Jeff Hawbaker will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105
