Margaret Elizabeth Fletcher, age 77, of Warfordsburg, died Tuesday, March 29. 2011, at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, Pa.

Born December 31, 1933, in Fulton County, Belfast Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lee and Effie Taylor Funk, and the widow of the late Vearl D. Fletcher, who died December 13, 2009.

She was a graduate of Warfordsburg High School, and a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, and the Ladies Aid of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church.

She was employed with the Fulton County Housing Authority, where she was the director for HUD.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara J. Weller and husband, Stephen, of McConnellsburg, Pa., Cathy L. Albright and husband, Dennis, of Carlisle, Pa., and Rita G. Stapelton and husband, Timothy, of Great Cacapon, W.Va.;
three sons, Bryan Vearl Fletcher and wife, Debbie, of Harrisonville, Pa., Stuart K. Fletcher and wife, Cheryl, of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Eric K. Fletcher of Warfordsburg, Pa.; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Funk; and two sisters, Leona Weeks and Marjorie DeHart.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 3013 Pleasant Grove Road, Warfordsburg, Pa. The Rev. Denver Plessinger will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday, from 12 to 2 p.m.

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 3013 Pleasant Grove Road, Warfordsburg, Pa., 17267.
