Marie Louise McDonough, age 91, formerly of Flintstone, Md., passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Homewood, in Frederick, Md. Prior to her death, she resided at Country Meadows, in Frederick, for many years.

Born July 10, 1927, in Waltersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Stephen J. Ondrish and Anna (Ruby) Ondrish; and the widow of Walter E. McDonough, whom she married February 4, 1950 and who died March 12, 2013.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, in Hancock, Md.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by four brothers, Albert Ondrish, of Fulton Md., Theodore Ondrish, of Cleveland Oh., David Ondrish, of Artemas , Pa., and James Ondrish, of Indian Head, Md.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen Ondrish and Robert Ondrish; and one sister, Joanne (Ondrish) Sheroke.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Friday, July 5, 2019, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, July 6, from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. John Lombardi officiating. Her burial will take place on Monday, July 8, 2019, at the Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, in Flintstone, Md.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Peter Catholic Church, 16 East High Street, Hancock, MD 21750.
