Mark Herbert “Herb” Fost, age 59, of Warfordsburg, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at his home.
Born July 26, 1952, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Sara E. “Sally” McKinley Fost, of Williamsport, Md., and the late Mark H. Fost.
He was self-employed as the owner/operator of Fost Construction.
He was of the Episcopalian faith.
He was a social member of the Webster B. Harrison Post #26 American Legion in Hancock, Md.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna M. McClintock Fost, whom he married March 8, 2003; two daughters, Skye Gratton and husband, Kristian, of Birmingham, Al., Brittany Goosie, of Knoxville, Tn.; two sons, Abraham Fost, of Colorado, and Brooks Fost and wife, Stephanie, of State College, Pa.; one sister, Susie Jeffries, of Harrisburg, Pa.; two brothers, Dave Fost, of Lusby, Md., and Mike Fost, of Currituck, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 3:00 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md. with the Rev. F. Alan Weatherholt officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., on Saturday.
The family requests that donations may be made to Boy Scout Troop #15, c/o Dave Mitchell, 14106 Heavenly Acres Road, Hancock, Md., 21750, or to the charity of your choice.
