Mark Delano Martin, age 73, devoted husband, father and grandfather, of Western Pike, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at his home.

Born October 13, 1937, in Needmore, Pa., he was the son of the late Roy R. and Libbie Funk Martin.

He retired September 12, 2006 from Rayloc, in Hancock, Md.

He attended the Hancock Assembly of God Church, Hancock, Md.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Virginia Hatton Martin, whom he married June 26, 1965, at the Hancock Presbyterian Church; one son, Darren Lynn Martin and wife Michille Renea, of Hancock, Md.; one daughter, Krista Dawn Murray and husband David Blake, of Needmore, Pa.; one sister, Wanda Hoch, of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; four grandchildren, Ethan Tyler Martin, Jessica Calene Martin, Hunter Martin Murray and Jacob Martin Murray.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Joseph Martin and Elgin Zane Martin, Sr.

A service will be held Monday December 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hancock Assembly of God Church, 431 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Hancock. The Rev. Don Preston and the Rev. Jamie Morris will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Needmore, Pa.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Sunday, 3 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock Assembly of God, 431 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Hancock, Md. 21750
