Matthew Lynn Weller, age 17 years, of Buck Valley Road , died Monday, September 27 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Warfordsburg , Pa.

Born June 20, 1993 in Hagerstown , Md. , he was the son of Nita E. Beatty White of Warfordsburg, Pa. and Faron Weller of Watertown , NY, and step-son of Douglas C. White of Warfordsburg , Pa.

He was a senior at Southern Fulton High School, Warfordsburg , Pa.

He was employed, part-time, at the Gateway Service Center and Sheetz in Breezewood , Pa.

Besides his parents and step-father, he is survived by one brother, Faron Weller of Indiana, Pa.; two step-brothers, Joseph White, of Jacksonville, Fl. and Dillon White, at home; maternal grandmother, Catherine Beatty, of Warfordsburg, Pa.; and the late Seibert Beatty; paternal grandmother, Jean Yonker, of Hancock, Md.; paternal step-grandparents, Vernon and Phyllis White, of Jacksonville, Fl.; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by step-sister, Danae White.

A funeral service will be held Friday, October 1, at 2:00 p.m. at the Needmore Bible Church , 6939 Great Cove Road , Needmore , Pa. Matthew's uncle, Randy Beatty, will officiate. Burial will be in Buck Valley Christian Cemetery , 2281 Harmonia Road , Warfordsburg , Pa.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that, in memory of Destiny, memorial contributions may be made to the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St. Hancock , Md. 21750-0368.
