M. Regina Strait

Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania

M. Regina Strait, age 85, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away on August 29, 2015, at the home of her daughter.

Born October 16, 1929, in Warfordsburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Maye Bishop Michael.

She is survived by one daughter, Jean Gregory and husband, Gary, of Needmore, Pa.; a granddaughter, Sheila Engle and husband, Cliff, of Hagerstown, Md.; a grandson, Chris Gregory and wife, Kristie, of Big Cove Tannery, Pa.; four great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Grace, Jon and Bryan; and one brother, Ralph Michael and wife, Marjorie, of Greencastle, Pa.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert, the love of her life for 59 years, who died June 9, 2010; a son, Frank, who died January 20, 2010; and three brothers, Merle, Paul and Carl Michael.

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was always a very important part of her life, but the Lord was always first.

She was a member of the Mays Chapel Christian Church; a Girl Scout leader; a member of the Warfordsburg Lions Club; and she helped to create the Warfordsburg Community Park.

A service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
