Nina Kay Smith, age 61, of Needmore, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md.
Born November 7, 1954, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of Gladys Cecilia Morris, of Hancock, Md. and the late James Earl Morris, Sr., and the widow of Terry L. Smith, Sr.
She was a graduate of Hancock High School class of 1972.
She was a homemaker.
Besides her mother, she is also survived by her son, Terry L. Smith, Jr., of Needmore; brothers, James Earl Morris, Jr., of Hancock, Md., Stanley Morris, of Hagerstown, Md., and Brian Morris, of Sanford, Fl.; and sisters, Stella Francisco, of Deltona, Fl., Beverly Ann Boyce, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., Jane League, of St. Petersburg, Fl., and Darlene Klaus, of Leavenworth, Ks.
Funeral services will be held at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Saturday, June 25, at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Douglas Poffenberger will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, in Needmore.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the Funeral Home.
