Patricia Diana ”Trish” Mann, age 70, of Hancock, Md., passed away at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, Md. on Sunday, October 20, 2019.

Born January 9, 1949, in Little Rock, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Nora Allene (Lane) Westnedge; and the wife, for 39 years, of her husband, Mark W. Mann.

She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, who dedicated most of her time to her grandchildren. She treasured her children and grandchildren, and embraced every moment with them. Her hobbies were sewing, scrabble, canning and gardening, and she also loved her dogs.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Patti A. Appel and her husband, Mark, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; a son, Bernard Briggs, Jr., of Austin Tex.; six grandchildren, Bernie, Beau, Lilly, Rose, Lauren and her husband, Joey, and Zachary and his wife, Heather; a brother, Richard Westnedge, of Oka.; a niece, Valerie Kyle, of Hagerstown, Md.; and nephews, Sean Olmo, of Calif., Mike Grawn, of Hagerstown, and Steve Grawn, of Mich.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Allene L. Olmo; and a brother, Joseph B. Westnedge, II.

There will be a gathering of friends on Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 5 until 7:00 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, Md.,  followed by a memorial service to be held at 7:00 p.m. with Chaplin Duane Musgrove officiating.

Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.
