Patricia Diane Schetrompf, age 57, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018, at the Meritus Medical Center, in Hagerstown, Md.

Born March 10, 1960, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Homer Eugene and Charlene P. (Stotler) Schetrompf.

She was a member of St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, in Hancock, Md.

She was a 1978 graduate of Hancock High School.

Patty was employed as a plant manager for Guardian Insulation, in Hagerstown, Md., and was formerly employed by London Fog, also in Hagerstown.

She is survived by two daughters, Emily Donahue and Danielle Donahue, both of Hancock;, Leonard, Lindsay and Troy Donahue; one grandson Thomas, six sisters, Gloria McKinley and her husband, Steve, of Hagerstown, Md., Victoria Frederick, Sherry Weaver and her husband, Rodney, Kathy McCarty, Robin Mosier and her husband, Lynn, all of Hancock, and Tina McCormick and her husband, Al, of Mars, Pa.; and one brother, Michael Schetrompf and wife Joann of Hancock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer , David and Daniel, and her dear friend, Thomas Donahue.

A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 2 East High Street, Hancock, on Monday, January 22, 2018,at 11:00 a.m. Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt, Jr. will officiate.

Arrangements were handled by the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock.
