Patricia Zilch

Patricia Lorraine (Wachter) Zilch, age 84, quietly departed this life on Friday, April 3, 2020, in the Heartland Healthcare and Hospice, in Chesterfield, Va.

She was born in Hancock, Md., on April 22, 1935, the daughter of the late Willard Reed and Gladys Pauline (Phillips) Wachter; and the widow of Donald Keith Zilch, whom she married in June of 1956, and who died February 25, 2013.

She attended Hancock High School, and was elected president of her senior class.

She was a former employee of the Fairchild Aircraft Company.

Mrs. Zilch was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, in Lappans, Md.; the American Legion Auxiliary Post 211, in Funkstown, Md.; and a past member of the Western Maryland Chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Assoc., in Hagerstown, Md.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her daughters, Carol Lee (Zilch) Richardson and her husband, Cliff, and Lisa Ann (Zilch) Trani and her husband, Tony; her four grandchildren, Brooke, Lauren, Brady, and Ali; great-grandson, Steele; and great-granddaughter, Navy.

Burial will be private, at the convenience of her family.
