Ralph W. Leasure, age 87, of Hancock, died Tuesday October 26, 2010 at the Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown, Md.

Born July 29, 1923, in Clearville, Pa., he was the son of the late Lester W. and Gladys Perdue Leasure, and the husband of the late Lillie M. Spielman Leasure, who died July 3, 2000.

He was formerly employed with Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pa., for 34 years.

He was an avid hunter.

He is survived by two daughters; Mary Truax, of Hancock, Md., and Dorothy J. Silvers of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two sons, Ralph W. Leasure, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Donald R. Leasure, of Hancock, Md.; three sisters, Velma Leasure of California, Mary Furnier of Florida, and Edith Smith; two brothers, Paul Leasure of California and Leroy Leasure of Minnesota; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by one son, Lester Leasure, in 1990.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, Md. Rev. W. Kenneth Stottlemyer will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
