Richard Figard

Richard Eugene Figard, age 73, of Warfordsburg, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at his home.

Born April, 17, 1937, he was the son of the late Warren E. and Cordelia R. Booth Figard.

He was of the Protestant faith.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of the NRA, and was active in the Warfordsburg Senior Center.

He is survived by one daughter, April L. Lebo, of Millersburg, Pa.; one son, Scott E. Figard, of York Haven, Pa.; and two step-daughters, Courtney Meiderer, and Evelyn Potts, both of York Haven, Pa.; five grandchildren, David Hoffman, Alkan Cave, Michael Cave, Fred Campbell, III, and Amanda Campbell. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ranny and Ellie Booth.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday April 30. 2011 at 11:00am at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St. Hancock, MD,  the Rev. Allan Weatherholt will officiate.
