Robert Lee Younker, age 85, of Hancock, Md., passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

Born December 5, 1934, in Hancock, he was the son of the late Herman Elwood Younker and Pansy Marie (Walls) Younker Coonrod.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Alma Grace (Coonrod) Younker, who passed away August, 2017.

He left high school to help support his family.

He was devoted to, and loved his family. He was a first-class mechanic, and was loved and trusted by all. Next to his family, hunting was his passion. He was a very accomplished hunter and trapper, and was also an expert rifleman.

He is survived by three daughters, Carol A. Fox and her husband, Wink, of Hancock, Linda M. Summers and her husband, Gary, of Williamsport, Md., and Peggy L. Fox and her husband, Roger, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two sons, James R. Younker and his wife, Patty, of Smithsburg, Md., and Steven L. Younker and his wife, Barbara, of Hancock; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four sisters; and three brothers.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister; two brothers; one granddaughter, Crystal Fox; and one great-granddaughter, Angel Truax.

The family will receive friends at the Hancock Assembly of God, 431 North Pennsylvania Ave., Hancock, on Thursday, November 5, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the Hancock Assembly of God, on Friday, November 6, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Don Preston will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tonoloway Primitive Baptist cemetery, in Needmore, Pa.
